In this talk, we present JSONiq: the SQL of NoSQL. But this is not your grandma’s SQL. It is a high-level query language that enables NoSQL developers to productively develop complex queries on top of MongoDB. JSONiq supports novel concepts purposely designed for JSON data.
The goal of the talk is to showcase:
- the level of productivity that can be achieved using JSONiq and
- the scalability of deploying JSONiq on top of MongoDB using inter- and intra- query parallelization.
