Using NoSQL databases prima facie seems to be easier but getting it correct is often not that easy. With so many NoSQL databases, choosing the right NoSQL database technology also becomes an issue. This session will cover modeling based on practical implementations. The session will cover modeling for user profile - interest graph , Ontology /Relations as well as Real time analytics using NoSQL Databases ranging Document DB (MongoDB), Column DB(Cassandra), Semantic (Apache Jena) & Graph DB (Neo4J). This presentation is based on practical implementations for:
  • User profile, content and behavior based interest anaysis
  • Ontology Relations implementations
  • Real time analytics of Ads
This use cases are from interest based recommendations as well as high volume ad network. The modeling would cover using MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J, and Apache Jena.

Khanderao is CTO of Glomantra where he leads development of Relevance Platform heavily using Knowledge Engg, Machine learning, NLP and text processing . He also worked on AdNetwork's yield optimization based on user and content profiling and real time analytics. Earlier he was Principal Architect at Oracle, Peoplesoft and Annuncio.
