With the rapid evolution of our data driven, interconnected world, the demand for technologies such as NoSQL has never been greater. Whether it's building a “greenfield” application or migrating an existing application, achieving web scale can still be a daunting task.

This session will share successful strategies to discuss effectively rigging to scale. Participants will be both entertained and educated as the presentation explores new ways to reduce the total cost of ownership, complexity, and time to market.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Architecting, hosting, deploying, and managing your cloud
  • NoSQL, “Big data”, LINQ, and map-reduce
  • SQL server integration and caching scenarios
  • Distributed file stores
  • Turbo-charging your synchronous and asynchronous business logic
  • Evaluating TCO, TTM and complexity

The audience will also leave the room having gained a comprehensive toolbox for building flexible and scalable applications.

Justin’s talent for designing, architecting and developing enterprise software began at a young age, building his first program when he was only 12 years old. It’s this passion that has led him to deliver some of largest scale media properties for clients, including, CBS Radio, AOL, Yahoo and Cricket Wireless. Through these fascinating but challenging projects, Justin was able to take with him the lessons he learned, becoming the CTO at FatCloud and primary contributor to the Windows platform that’s designed to accelerate large distributed and cloud computing projects for the Windows community.
