Jon Webster, VP of Product Management at GridGain will discuss the NoSQL performance challenges from several real-world deployments where GridGain’s technology transparently plugged in and provided substantial elastic scale and performance increase. Jon will provide a quick overview of GridGain’s technology and will discuss how the company’s memory-first architecture powers GridGain’s In-Memory NoSQL Accelerator to provide virtually unlimited scale.
Jon Webster heads GridGain’s product management efforts, driving product adoption and customer implementations. Jon brings significant expertise to GridGain Systems with over 15 years of senior and global technology and sales history with notable global companies including Netuitive, Microsoft, AmberPoint (acquired by BEA/Oracle) and SilverStream Software (acquired by Novell). Jon has also held a number of technical roles, was an early adopter of Java for use in an online gaming startup he co-founded in 1996, while also developing his expertise on J2EE and Java Application Servers. Jon holds a B.Sc. with Honors in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
