While most developers know that NoSQL solutions are highly scalable, of the oft-quoted three “V’s” of Big Data – Volume, Velocity and Variety – many of the key NoSQL advantages are not about “bigness” at all, but rather about velocity and variety.  Dealing with extreme speed and complexity requirements is often the driver for NoSQL projects, especially when the data is unstructured, and real-time response is essential.  The Big Data track will describe how different NoSQL options, from Hadoop to Graphs to RDF (semantics) can be used to solve various Big Data challenges, including many unique analytic requirements.
